Higgs gravity

This research project aims at investigating (i) how far the Higgs scalar field could play the role of the inflaton (i.e. the scalar field responsible for the primordial inflation in cosmology) and (ii) the consequences of the Higgs non-minimal coupling to gravity for physics of the matter-dominated era.

To summary, this research will investigate some cosmological consequences of considering the Higgs field as a new fundamental gravitational field. This investigation could help decipher the deep nature of mass and gravitation.
